This growth was significant in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama, due to the utilisation of bigger aircraft (A340-600). Mid Atlantic and North Atlantic load factors were also up by 1.2 and 3.0 points, with a traffic increase of 10.6% and 3.9%respectively.

In the international medium haul load factor improved by 6.9 points compared June 2005. Traffic had a good performance in the majority of European destinations, highlighting Greece and Denmark. Traffic was also very positive in African and Middle East destinations.

In the domestic sector, the strategy is focused on improving profitability through a selective adjustment of capacity and a revenue management policy focused on yield improvement.
