Brussels Airlines has elected to extend its contract with Unitpool by a further five years.

Unitpool provides a fully managed ULD management service and is the only ULD supplier to operate a Pool of ULDs.

“Unitpool has been managing our ULD fleet since 2002.  The decision to commit for a further five years was driven by the service, price and relationship.  According to our Business Plan our aircraft fleet will expand significantly over the coming few years, and working within the Unitpool model supports growth and furthermore we will benefit from the economies of scale brought by the pooling approach.” states Vic de Baets, Manager Cargo and Jar-Ops, Brussels Airlines.

Unitpool CEO, David Harman commented, “We are thrilled that Brussels Airlines has chosen to extend our agreement.  Brussels Airlines is a quality carrier with ambitious growth plans.  Their commitment is a fruit of our focus on quality over the past months, especially on improving the understanding and delivery of the pooling concept in the stations, where it really matters.”

Unitpool is enjoying a significant increase in interest in its services from airlines globally. Unitpool is now serving airline customers at more than 250 stations globally with a ULD pool of more than 20,000 ULDs.

Brussels Airlines operates flights between Belgium and a wide variety of destinations in Europe and Africa.
