AAdvantage Members Can Earn AAdvantage Miles When Flying Air Tahiti Nui

FORT WORTH, Texas – American Airlines, the world’s largest airline and a founding member of the oneworld® alliance , has expanded its frequent flyer relationship with Air Tahiti Nui, one of the leading air carriers to French Polynesia. As of Aug. 1, 2006, the enhanced agreement between American and Air Tahiti Nui enables AAdvantage members to earn AAdvantage miles for each eligible fare ticket purchased and flown on Air Tahiti Nui. The AAdvantage® Program and Air Tahiti Nui have provided AAdvantage members the opportunity to redeem AAdvantage miles to the South Pacific since 2000. Air Tahiti Nui operates daily nonstop service between Los Angeles and Tahiti and three weekly nonstops from New York to Tahiti. Additionally, Air Tahiti Nui offers nonstop service between Japan and Tahiti and one-stop service between France and Tahiti. Air Tahiti Nui also offers continuing service to Sydney, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand.
