Qatar Airways is to operate an additional flight from Doha to Damascus tomorrow night (July 14) to pick up passengers stranded by this morning’s bomb attacks at Rafik Hariri International Airport in neighbouring Beirut.
The flight is scheduled to leave Doha International Airport at 1900 hrs (Qatar local time) on July 14, arriving into Damascus at 2200 hrs (Syrian local time). It is scheduled to depart Damascus at 2300 hrs (Syrian local time) and arrive in Doha at 0140 hrs (Qatar local time) on July 15.
Due to the current security situation in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, Qatar Airways has cancelled flights between Doha and Beirut today and tomorrow.
Passengers booked on Qatar Airways to and from Beirut are advised to contact their local Qatar Airways office or local travel agent for further updates.
