Rates starting at $169 per night equal great value in Waikiki through March 2008

WAIKIKI, OAHU – Staying at a great hotel in legendary Waikiki does not mean you have to spend more than $300 a night to do so, especially when you book a room at the new, chic, and stylish Wyland Waikiki, Hawaii’s first art-design hotel, now through March 31, 2008.

The Wyland Waikiki’s Opening Special rate starts at $169 per room/night (exclusive of tax) in a Standard room category and includes complimentary daily breakfast for two at the IHOP Waikiki located just across the street from the hotel. For travelers looking for a hip, stylish hotel property located in the heart of Waikiki, this offer represents a savings of more than 40 percent off daily room rates. Aside from being Hawaii’s only art-design hotel, it is also the first Wyland branded hotel in the world and holds the largest collection of Wyland paintings, photographs, and sculptures outside of his galleries.

“Guests will find The Wyland Waikiki to be an original, based on the natural appeal of famed marine life artist Wyland, the beautiful upgrades, a hip and contemporary style, and an ideal location near all of the great ‘distractions’ Waikiki has to offer,” said Robin Graf, general manager of The Wyland Waikiki. “With Waikiki undergoing an exciting transformation that is bringing new entertainment, shopping, activities, and attractions to the destination, it is a great time for travelers to look to Oahu for their winter or spring vacation.”

Escape to a true oasis in the heart of Waikiki, one that offers visitors world-class accommodations and superior island hospitality. Rates are based on single or double occupancy, subject to availability and change. Specials cannot be combined with other offers; rates are valid through March 31, 2008. Restrictions may apply. For reservations or more information, call The Wyland Waikiki at 877-995-2638 (877-WYLAND8) or visit www.wylandwaikiki.com.
