The airline Norwegian will start a new route from its base in Warsaw to Munich 29 October.

This will be the seventh route to Germany. “Already we have six different routes from Norway to four major cities – Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Munich. We are very pleased with the development on these routes, especially with the increasing amount of German passengers,” says Daniel Skjeldam, Director Network in Norwegian.

The new route from Warsaw will start 29 October and will operate four times weekly – Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Sunday.

Direct flights to Norway:

Berlin-Oslo – Twice daily

Hamburg-Oslo – Three weekly (Monday-Wednesday-Friday)

Düsseldorf-Oslo – Daily except Saturday

Munich-Oslo – Daily except Saturday

Berlin-Bergen – Three weekly (Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday)

Berlin-Stavanger – Twice weekly (Thursday-Sunday)

“With daily flights (except Saturdays) between Munich and Oslo, the passengers have good transfer possibilities to other destinations in Norway. Our numerous daily direct routes to the western and northern parts of Norway are also very interesting for the German market. We see more and more German passengers on our flights and will expect an increase this summer,” says Skjeldam.

In July 2006 Norwegian established a new base in Warsaw and today the company operates 12 different routes from Poland to other European countries.

The domestic route network in Norway:

From Oslo to Alta, Bergen, Bodoe, Harstad/Narvik, Kirkenes (summer route), Stavanger, Tromsø, Trondheim, from Bergen to Trondheim and Stavanger.

Norwegian is Scandinavia’s leading low cost carrier and started its operations 1st September 2002 with four domestic routes and six aircraft – Boeing 737-300. Today Norwegian has 22 aircraft (all Boeing 737-300) and operates 10 domestic routes and 89 international routes to 60 destinations. The company has 850 employees and the headquarters are located at Fornebu, Oslo.
