AirBaltic Launches Two New Routes from Lappeenranta, Finland

The Latvian national airline airBaltic is pleased to announce that today, November 12, it will launch two new routes from Lappeenranta, Finland, to the Estonian capital of Tallinn and to the Latvian capital of Riga, offering convenient connections to destinations in Western Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Mediterranean region.

Riga/Lappeenranta –  AirBaltic will offer flights between Lappeenranta and Tallinn four times a week. The flights will be offered on Boeing 737 aircraft and will last 50 minutes. One-way ticket prices start at EUR 35/EEK 553, including airport and transaction fees.

The Lappeenranta-Riga route will have flights four times a week. The flights will be offered on Boeing 737 aircraft and will last 2 hours 15 minutes. One-way ticket prices start at EUR 37/ LVL 26, including airport and transaction fees. In the winter season, airBaltic will operate the new routes with aircraft flying Riga-Tallinn-Lappeenranta, and vice versa. The route schedules are available on the company’s homepage at www.airbaltic.com.

It means that people from Southeastern Finland can travel to Latvia and Estonia, or via the Riga airport to destinations such as Barcelona, Berlin, Zurich, Venice, Vienna, Moscow, and Kaliningrad. Lappeenranta is a beautiful destination and the new airBaltic flight will attract more foreign travellers from Western Europe, Scandinavia, Mediterranean region and CIS.”
