Qatar Airways is to operate one additional flight from Doha to Damascus today (July 19), due to the ongoing security situation in Lebanon.
The extra flight is scheduled to leave Doha International Airport at 1500 hrs (Qatar local time). The return flight is scheduled to depart Damascus at 1900 hrs (Syrian local time).
Since last Thursday (July 13) Qatar Airways has operated additional flights between Doha and Damascus and has carried more than 3,000 passengers from Damascus airport to Doha.
Due to the continuing closure of Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport, Qatar Airways flights between Doha and Beirut are cancelled until July 24. Our office in Beirut remains closed owing to the security situation in the Lebanese capital.
Passengers booked on Qatar Airways to and from Beirut are advised to contact their local Qatar Airways office or local travel agent for further updates.
