YEW restaurant + bar at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver is offering two Olympic-themed palate pleasers to help you get in the spirit of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
At the bar, try „The World in Five Bites“ appetizer, priced to perfection at $20.10 CAD ($16 USD). Featuring five bites, each representing a distinct flavour from one of the Olympic continents (Australia, the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe), this dish will „taste“ you around the world from crispy pork dim sum with scallion ponzu (Asia), to wattleseed-spiced lamb skewer (Australia).
If you prefer team eating, for groups of 10, Executive Chef Oliver Beckert can prepare a special five-course all-inclusive dinner in YEW’s private dining room. The dinner features grilled 52 degree Kobe flatiron paired with Tiganello 2005, and ends with a chocolate „medal“, dark chocolate crumble and Morello cherry sorbet.
