NEW VIP LOUNGE IN LONDON HEATHROW FOR IBERIA CUSTOMERS
26.05.2009 [12:24] Iberia’s Business class passengers may use the new VIP lounge in the “Airlines Lounge F” zone of Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport in London.
The new space, dubbed “British Airways Galleries Club Lounge”, is shared by all the oneworld alliance airlines operating in London-Heathrow (Iberia, British Airways, Finnair and Qantas). Its area of 350 square metres can comfortably accommodate up to 300 people.
Noteworthy among the services offered in the new lounge are:
“Guest Service” customer care point.
Restaurant area: customers may sit at a cafeteria table or at the bar to enjoy food available at the self-service buffet, including fruits, yoghurts, pastries, cold and hot sandwiches, cheeses, salads, and more, plus a selection of wines and spirits. There is also a special “coffee corner”.
Work Centre with 18 computers, fax service, copy machine, scanner and internet connection (plug and WIFI).
- Public telephones.
- Reading area with armchairs.
- TV area and children’s play park.
- Atmospheric music.
- Spanish newspapers and Iberia’s Excelente and Ronda Iberia magazines, which are also available aboard Iberia flights
- Among new facilities to be added in the course of this year are individual shower-restrooms and an additional lounge, “First”, accommodating up to 200 people, with some special services such as a spa, a dining room, and a champagne bar.
Iberia and British Airways already share other VIP lounges at Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao airports (owned by Iberia), as well as in Berlin, Düsseldorf, JFK airport in New York and Sao Paulo (managed by British Airways)
